You have several options for making your donation on Match Day:
- In-Person: Come to Iron Clad in downtown Wamego (427 Lincoln Ave) from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on October 2nd for the live event. Board members and volunteers will be there to help with any questions.
- Online: Visit www.wamegomatchday.com anytime between October 1st and 4th to make a secure donation by credit card.
- By Check: Mail or drop off your check, made out to Wamego Community Foundation (WCF), with the required donation form.
- Mail your check and form to WCF at P.O. Box 248, Wamego, KS 66547.
- Drop Off: Drop off your donation (marked for WCF):
- in the red door mail slot at Iron Clad Coworking at 427 Lincoln Ave, Wamego, KS 66547 by October 4th
- in the dropbox located at our office in the parking lot of 514 Lincoln Ave.
- By Donor-Advised Fund (DAF):
- Fill out the Match Day donation form.
- Contact Marla or Sally at GMCF at 785-587-8995.
- Submit the completed form by bringing it to the office, mailing it, or emailing it to WCF.
- Gift of Grain:
- Must be completed at least one week before Match Day.
- If you're interested in donating grain, contact GMCF at 785-587-8995 and ask for Marla. Plan ahead to ensure the grain transfer is completed in time.
- Donate by Stock:
- Must be completed at least one week before Match Day.
- Step 1: Fill out the Match Day donation form.
- Step 2: Call Marla or Sally at 785-587-8995 for stock transfer instructions.
- Step 3: Provide the transfer instructions to your brokerage firm.
- Step 4: Notify GMCF with details of the transfer (brokerage firm name, stock name, number of shares).
- Step 5: Mail or email the completed form to GMCF, PO Box 1127, Manhattan, KS 66505, or foundation@mcfks.org.
The completed Wamego Match Day Donation Form MUST be submitted to WCF for all types of donations.
