St. George Community

Specific Need

The need for this funding is to help support the Community Enrichment activities for the city. This will help us be able to ensure more events for the Community. Examples of some of the events we have had are KAWnsas Fest, Easter Egg Hunt, Christmas in Downtown St. George with a tree lighting and Summer movie nights.

Mission

The City of St. George is known for its wholesome small-town atmosphere. St. George honors its past while promoting an inviting downtown surrounded by safe neighborhoods that meet the needs of the current and future generations of residents. The City governs in a way that is transparent, inclusive, responsible, and sustainable. With and identity unique to itself, St. George showcases its exceptional quality of life through family-friendly events, access to the Kansas River, and all-season recreation opportunities.
