Your donation fuels the next generation of essential workers through:
-
Student Life & Campus Experience – because connection builds confidence
-
Textbooks & Learning Resources – because tools matter
-
Career Development & Workforce Training – because hands-on skills change lives
-
Scholarships – because cost shouldn’t be a barrier to getting after it
We’ve built the foundation. Now, help us level up what happens inside.

Wamego Center
In 2018–19, Manhattan Area Technical College set out with a vision: to expand career and technical education opportunities in Wamego. That vision began to take shape with the acquisition of the former Bluestem Electric Cooperative facility near Wamego High School.
Since 2021, Manhattan Tech has been renovating the site to house programs in welding, electrical training, general education, and more. Courses will be available at the Wamego Center, in area high schools, online, and in hybrid formats. While the main campus will remain in Manhattan, the Wamego Center will allow students to complete general education courses and gain hands-on workforce training in high-demand fields critical to the region’s growth.
Looking ahead, plans are underway to expand offerings even further, with programs in plumbing, early childhood education, and cybersecurity under discussion. Your support can help make these opportunities a reality—enhancing the Wamego Center, funding scholarships, and opening more doors for students to build their future through Manhattan Area Technical College.
Mission
Manhattan Area Technical College provides high quality technical, general, and adult education to prepare individuals to pursue technologically advanced careers and lead productive lives in a dynamic and diverse global environment.
