Specific Need

Supporting our Wamego fund will allow Habitat for Humanity to pursue the continued development of affordable new home construction in the Wamego area, along with pursuing our vision of creating a world where everyone has a decent place to live. We support this mission through critical home repair and home maintence, alongside aging in place modifications, such as accessability ramps, grab rails and other needed modifications to allow homeowners to continue to live in their homes.

Habitat homeownership contributes to healthier families, greater success in school, more economic opportunities for families, and revitalized neighborhoods. Habitat for Humanity of the Northern Flint Hills has worked with community partners for more than twenty-five years to help families on their homeownership journey. We have built over 30 homes in Riley and Pottawatomie counties and continue to grow. A home is more than four walls and a roof. It’s a place to rest, a place to learn, and a place that can shape your future.
