Wamego Historical Society Museum

Goal: $10,000.00

Specific Need

We are in the process of making our historic museum a place where our history meets storytelling and preservation. To make our vision come true, our goal of $10,000 would assist us with tours & events in the upcoming seasons. We want to get the community much more involved. We are beginning to set up a research station in the basement, organizing tours that feature the history of the area, update of the website, update of the self guided tour turning it into a YouTube like with a QR code that can be scanned at the front desk, and hosting events at the museum.

Preserving our Past for Future Generations. Our museum maintains local and regional artifacts, photographs, collections, displays, and much more.

Admission: Adults-$3; Military-Free; Students thru high school-$1; Age 6 & under-Free.
