Specific Need

Contributions will help offset the costs for 4-H member delegates to attend this life-changing leadership and civic engagement opportunity.  Cost per delegate is $3500.00. 4-H members from Pottawatomie, Riley and Wabaunsee Counties will participate as delegates to Washington D.C. in the Summer of 2028. 

Profile

CWF is a national 4-H program that focuses on leadership and civic engagement. The experience will help build future leaders in our community, country, and world. 4-H Delegates will meet, learn, share and tour with youth from other states as they visit Capitol Hill, government departments, historic sites and memorials. They will also get a behind-the-scenes view of our nation's capital and meet with Kansas Congressional and Senate delegations to discuss legislative issues. 4-H delegates will participate in workshops and hands-on learning opportunities to learn life skills and discuss possible solutions to domestic and international problems.
