Mission

Everyone has a story, and the Ruby Slippers mission is to extend assistance to women to ease their journey. Monetary contributions help those within Pottawatomie and Wabaunsee counties and are paid directly to vendors for services provided.

Ruby Slippers is an affiliate of Community Care Ministries.

Just like with Dorothy, Ruby Slippers bring confidence to a woman who is losing faith and in the end, show her a brighter way home.

Recipients are asked to help another woman in the future through the pay-it-forward principle.

To date Ruby Slippers has raised $52,277.37. $43,668.07 has been given to women for critical needs. Examples of how we have helped: auto repairs, education, and medical needs.
