Thank you for considering a donation to Kansas Honor Flight—Wamego High School.  With your help, we as a community have the unique opportunity to send our nation’s heroes on a life changing trip to experience the memorials constructed in their honor. 

Mission

The Honor Flight Network has a mission to provide area veterans the opportunity to experience firsthand the memorials constructed for them.  As a way to honor our veterans for their service, they do not pay for this experience.

Profile

In April 2023, we successfully completed our eleventh annual flight.  We have had the privilage of honoring 259 area veterans for their service.  Students from our local chapter of the National Honor Society accompanied our veterans as their student guardians, and our Wamego community has provided an incredible Homecoming for each of our flights!  Our next flight will be April 24th and 25th, 2024.
